Improved Livelihood for Street-Connected Youth Through Sustainable Farming – Phase II
The Improved Livelihood for Street-Connected Youth Through Sustainable Farming – Phase II was a one-year project extension implemented by Hashtag Gulu Initiative in partnership with Gang Wa Peace Farm and Homa Farm, with support from Federation Genevoise De Cooperation and Eirene Suisse. Running from May 1, 2022, to June 30, 2023, the project aimed to build on previous efforts to equip street-connected children and youth (SCCY) in Gulu with agricultural skills, livelihood training, and reintegration support while ensuring the sustainability of Hashtag Gulu Initiative’s social enterprise model. The project focused on vocational training, infrastructure development, and farm-based enterprise growth, enabling SCCY to develop sustainable livelihoods and transition into independent living.
