At Hashtag Gulu Initiative, we believe no child or young person should call the streets home. Life on the streets is no life for anyone. Every child and youth deserves to grow up in a safe, loving environment—with the tools to build a meaningful future. We’re building a local movement to make that vision real across northern Uganda and beyond.

For nearly five years, we’ve worked tirelessly to transform the lives of children and youth in street situations. Through life skills training, mentorship, psychosocial support, and family reintegration, we help them find healing, purpose, and belonging. But we can’t do it alone.
