The Rescuing Young Mothers and Adolescents from the Streets Through Skills Building project was an initiative implemented by Hashtag Gulu Initiative, with funding from the Rotary Vijana Poa program through the Rotary Club of Gulu. The project aimed to equip young mothers and adolescent girls living on the streets with practical skills in tailoring and fashion design, enabling them to gain economic independence and reintegrate into society. By providing structured training, mentorship, and a pathway to employment, the project sought to break the cycle of poverty, vulnerability, and street life among young mothers and adolescent girls.
